Precision Metal Forming-Full Range, Under One Roof
Aerocor, Inc. provides a comprehensive range of precision metal forming capabilities for aerospace and industrial applications. All processes are performed in-house under our AS9100 and ISO 9001-certified quality management system. Core Capabilities
Metal Forming Operations
Stampings
Precision metal stampings produced from tooling designed for repeatable dimensional accuracy. Aerocor produces stampings in a range of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, and aerospace alloys. Tolerances and surface conditions are controlled to customer specifications.
Water Jet Cutting Experts Since 1994
Abrasive water jet cutting for complex profiles, contoured blanks, and near-net-shape details. Water jet cutting is particularly suited to heat-sensitive aerospace alloys-titanium, nickel-based, and cobalt-based materials-where thermal distortion from conventional cutting methods is unacceptable.
Formed Details
Sheet metal forming operations producing brackets, channels, angles, and complex formed details to tight dimensional requirements. Aerocor forms both common and exotic metals, with process controls appropriate to the material and application.
Weldments
Structural and precision weldments produced to customer drawings and applicable welding standards. Aerocor produces weldments in aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, and aerospace alloys, with full documentation and inspection per customer and quality system requirements.
Complex Assemblies
Multi-detail assemblies integrating stampings, created details, weldments, and purchased hardware into complete, deliverable assemblies. Aerocor manages the full assembly process in-house, providing a single point of accountability for dimensional conformance and quality documentation. Special Processes
Advanced Joining and Forming Processes
Aerocor’s special process capabilities represent a significant differentiator in the precision metal manufacturing supply chain. These processes are performed in-house by experienced personnel under documented process controls.
Resistance Spot Welding
Resistance spot welding for joining sheet metal details and assemblies. Process parameters are controlled and documented to meet aerospace and industrial weld quality requirements. Applicable to aluminum, stainless steel, and other weldable alloys.
Seam Welding
Resistance seam welding for continuous, leak-tight, or structurally continuous weld joints. Used in applications requiring uniform weld quality along a seam-including enclosures, ducts, and structural assemblies.
Hot Forming of Titanium and Difficult-to-Form Metals
Elevated-temperature forming of titanium alloys and other materials with limited room-temperature formability. Hot forming enables complex geometries in titanium and nickel-based alloys that cannot be achieved through conventional cold-forming operations. Process temperatures, tooling, and atmospheres are controlled to prevent contamination and maintain material properties. Materials
